MOSCOW, May 27 (PRIME) -- The government has prepared a plan for Russia’s economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic, which envisages spending 8 trillion rubles in 2020–2021, Vedomosti business daily reported on Wednesday.
The draft will be sent to the presidential administration on June 1, the daily reported.
The plan includes 2 trillion rubles for investment in infrastructure, 700 billion rubles for future “breakthrough initiatives” of the government, 1.5 trillion rubles for support of industries, including 1 trillion rubles to be sent to Russia’s non-capital regions, and 180 billion rubles for social support.
The document does not encompass large-scale support of small and medium businesses, but it will prolong a moratorium on scheduled checks of such businesses until the end of 2021, and will limit unscheduled checks sharply.
